The Eyes of Time

Science applies new knowledge over time, but our past remains the same. The Bible helps us see a distant past. It is more important for us to see now, what the truth was from the older prospective, because it explains why things happened the way they did. Beliefs become actions and actions change beliefs.

The story of Babylon might seem quite outlandish to any average toddler. How could even God move an object as big as the sky? How could even God make people who once understood each other suddenly not?

Today we can go to the top of the top of a very tall tower and see that the view of heaven, is as far from there as it is from the ground. Like the mountains Heaven seem further away if you try to reach it. Once we thought God had made a close thing further away, it turns out, far things seem closer than they really are. The explanation for this is simple provability over time, it is advantageous to see the world this way, we can see what is there, in advance and even judge it's distance by the perceived size, verses the actual size. This preconception from far away could also explain the babble. Language changes over time, it is not objective, but subjective, this means that context should be taken into account.

The story of Babylon should not discourage from seeking Heaven but remind us that we were discouraged in the past, by a prospective that has since matured. Will the actions of God are not changing, the way we see them has changed.

The mountain is not as close as it appears, bring water, food and protection from the atmosphere. Heaven is not as close as it does appear, bring water, food and protection from the atmosphere.

No the unchanging truth that it is still true today, that space is desirable for life. God could not be against us, because we are fragile, but still we can feel the forces of God against us. Science is finding direction and preparing for a future based on the patterns of the past.

Let science move forward now and see that, this has happened before, let us know that, what has happened, over the past hundred years can now be applied and it is time to update policy based on new information.
